Their names and ages are Brianna age 10, Samreen age 11, Anum age 11, Courtney age 10, and Amelia age 11. We will help you understand why we should s top child labour/poverty. Our company raises money to give to countries that have poverty and child labour. Our company also raises awareness about poverty/child labour that happens worldwide!!! We do this by having fundraising events and shows that explain what happens in other countries.
You can open a lemonade stand or you could have a garage sale. You could also do so much more by being creative! The money you collect, you can donate to us or send it to countries that have poverty/child labour!!!
We have a lot of events for you to go to. For kid contests we design clothes, art contest, and speech contest. For adults writing a book, and fashion show. For sales we have bake sales and garage sales. The last events are movie nights. We have movie nights for kids, teens, and adults.
We do this because we feel that it is unfair that children have to work and we think it is unfair that pe ople have to live in places where they cannot get their basic needs. We also do this because we think that everyone in the world should be equal and get equal rights. Children have to work about 64 hours a week in the summer and 52 hours a week not in the summer. They make only 10-20 cents a day. The law in Canada is that you have to get paid at least $10 an hour! So it takes child labourers. In one month they would make $2.80, in 2 months they would make $5.60, in 3 months they would make $8.40 , in 4 months they would make $11.20 . We would get paid $80.00 in one week, and in 1 month we would get paid at least $320.00 a month. This is why we want to STOP CHILD LABOUR/POVERTY!!
