On average, it took 6 link-throughs before performing a task for Mozilla.

So, what's happening?

In relation to new contributors...

  • Potential contributors have a difficult time getting involved.
  • There's too much drop off after first contact.

  • In relation to current contributors...

  • We don't know who's currently in our community.
  • It is nearly impossible to determine what a person has contributed or currently is contributing for the Mozilla project.
  • THE SKYZ ARE F4LLINN11!!212!

    Nah, its manageable.

So, how do we fix this?

  • Lessen the number of link-throughs to find a task to perform in Mozilla to 3 or less.

  • Offer a clear and organized on-ramp to get involved in the Mozilla Community.

  • Experiment!

  • What will this look like?
An organized on-ramp and platform towards Mozillian involvement.
